About Wendi

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University of Sacramento, with a 3.29 overall grade point average. I accumulated 25 Early Childhood Education units, which included some of the following courses: Child Growth & Development, Children’s Literature, Preschool Teaching Practices, Child, Family & Community, Administration in Child Centers, Positive Social Development in Young Children, Child Abuse-Cause & Effect, Infants and Toddlers and Cultural Diversity.

I spent 4 years as a nanny for a family of 4 children and 2 years as a Preschool Teacher.

I am certified in Children’s CPR, First Aid and Preventive Health and Safety training, have been fingerprinted through the State of California Health and Human Services Agency and have been cleared for TB. I am also a mandated reporter for child abuse and neglect and an active volunteer at the Children’s Receiving Home. 

We carry full liability insurance for in-home family childcares.
